Flexeril
Flexeril is a powerful muscle relaxant that helps relieve pain caused by strains, sprains, and/or other injuries to the muscles. Flexeril acts on the central nervous system (CNS) to block sensory impulses that cause pain. As a result, you get fast relief from pain usually within minutes.
Side Effects: Common side effects of Flexeril include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision, and/or dry mouth. These side effects are temporary and tend to go away as your body gets adjusted to the medication. Other more severe side effects that require you to stop treatment and seek medical attention include the following: allergic reaction, seizures, hallucinations, confusion, blurred vision, increased heart rate, and depression.
Suggested Use: Follow your doctor’s advice. The normal recommended dose for patients with muscle spasms is one 10 mg tablet three times a day (not to exceed 60 mg or six 10 mg tablets in a 24-hour period).
