When taken on a daily basis, Ortho TriCyclen prevents pregnancy and lowers the level of hormone in the body that’s likely to cause pimples. In clinical studies, nearly nine out of ten women saw improvements to their skin after taking Ortho TriCyclen.

Side Effects: Common side effects of Ortho Tri-Cyclen include headache, nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, vomiting, breakthrough bleeding, and breast tenderness. These side effects may disappear or become less noticeable after 3 to 6 months of continued use. Other more severe side effects, which can be life threatening include stroke, heart attacks, and/or blood clots.
